FOSTER PROGRAM

Program Description

Fostering is a special type of volunteering and our organization depends on and deeply

appreciates our foster parents. By offering a temporary home to a pet in need, our foster parents change the course of a shelter animal’s life, impacting in ways that could not be measured.

Foster opportunities include providing a temporary home for a pregnant cat, offering some decompression time for a dog who is not doing well in a shelter setting, caring for kittens that need to be bottle fed, or giving some love to puppies that need some extra attention.

We would love to grow our foster list. To learn more and apply click below.

All kind, animal-loving people are welcome here. We are not just accepting. Instead, we are actively antiracist, pro-women, and an LGBTQIA+ welcoming organization. Discrimination and unkindness of any kind will not be tolerated here at any level. New Hampshire Humane Society is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and our EIN is 02-6006374.
