Roxy & Marley

Dear Marylee and Friends,
My name is Marley and I came to you in early 2009. I was scared and thin, but really cute! Silly you called me a hound! Does this look like the face of a hound?! My first couple months in my new home were a little tough, I wasn't sure about anything and a few times even bit the hand that fed me- can you believe it??  My new family was a little unsure also, and almost brought me back! I'm so glad they didn't because I'm really a good girl! I got to go to school and Mrs. Ryan Barney helped to teach me to behave. My people were patient and know what a love I really am.
All summer long, I got to swim and chase ducks and squirrels. My new favorite game is playing snowballs and pretty soon the lake will be safe and I'll get to skate. My older sister Roxy (pictured) has grown to tolerate me, now that I know she's the big sister- and now we get to cuddle up together to sleep.  My favorite places are the couch, my parents' bed, (on top of the pillows of course!), and the car! My Grandma buys me tons of toys to chew up! (With my "hound" teeth and jaws, even the toughest toys are no match!) I get to play with my Lab friend Molly on the weekends- she wears me out! I have lots of other friends too!
I'm writing to say thank you for saving me and letting me go to a great home! I love my people and they love me, and I hope lots of others get to find great homes like mine. Merry Christmas!
         Love, Marley & My Family
