We are always happy to accept help either through monetary contributions, volunteer services or donations of supplies. Our shelter is a community resource and we count on the community to help keep us going. We greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide!

Make a contribution through work

If you participate in your employer's annual United Way campaign through payroll deduction, you can choose to designate the NH Humane Society as the recipient of your charitable contribution, even though the NHHS is not a United Way funded agency. Talk to your employer's personnel office to learn how.

Assist with corporate sponsorship!

Sponsorship packages are available throughout the entire calendar year. Use this opportunity to market your company and raise much needed funds for our shelter! Packages tailored to individual events are also available.

 

How about making a matching gift?

Ask your employer if they will match your charitable contributions to the NH Humane Society and increase the impact of your gift dollar-for-dollar. You can inspire other employees to do the same!

If you or your partner work for a company with a "Matching Gift" program, please tell us the name and address of the company and we’ll handle the rest!

How it Works

Use eBay Giving Works to list items on eBay and donate 10% to 100% of your listing’s final sale price to us. It’s an easy way to sell your unwanted items while helping us raise funds for our mission.

Get Started

1. Click “Customize your listing”
2. Look for the “eBay Giving Works” field (Click “Add or Remove Options” if you don’t see it) in the Sell Your Item form in the "Choose how you’d like to sell your item" area
3. Choose “Select a new nonprofit”
4. In the pop-up window that appears, type “NHHS” in the “Nonprofit Name or  Keyword” field
5. Select NHHS and a percentage (10-100%) you wish to donate to us (please note: there is a $5 minimum donation if your item sells)

Make a planned gift

By making a planned gift to the NH Humane Society, you will ensure the gift of life for abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Please consider including NHHS in your will.

There are many options for planned giving that will maximize the benefits of a charitable gift through substantial tax and estate planning benefits. You may be able to increase your current income or provide additional retirement income while reducing income or estate taxes. At the same time, it allows you to make a lasting gift to the animals.
