Sponsor A Pet!

New Hampshire Humane Society enjoys a terrifically high placement rate for the animals that arrive at our doors.

Nevertheless, the length of time cats and dogs reside in their temporary home, our shelter, is inordinately long, especially for our felines. 

As a non profit animal welfare agency, our goal is placement in permanent  forever homes for ALL the creatures here, no matter how long their wait might be.  

IN the meantime, we need your support.  

Consider the option of SPONSORING A PET – your contribution will support the special care and comfort given these pets until they are chosen by loving families for adoption.  

SPONSOR A PET by choosing an animal from the adoption pages on our website, cat or dog, occasional ferret, sometimes bunnies for your stewardship.  

  • Your sponsorship of $25 will ensure care and comfort for the duration of that special animals stay.
  • Your name will be displayed on the website next to the bios of your chosen animal until adoption. 
  • We will keep you updated on the progress, social interactions, and ultimate adoption of your SPONSORED PET when that happy day occurs.
  • You can opt to sponsor another animal, or pick multiple animals to sponsor at one time.  You can also sponsor a pet in memory, or to honor a friend or loved one. 
  • You can sponsor as many pets are you wish, it’s entirely up to you.
  • All acknowledgments from us, to you, the sponsor, will be  sent via email, including notification of memorials or honorarium.

The Sponsor a Pet online web based program is also set up to enable gift recipients. 

If you do not have your gift recipient’s email address, you will need to use your own email address and print out the information to mail to your gift recipient.
